Behold the Birds of Innocence
How beautiful the Wildness of their Countenance.
If man would live in Mutual Love
this World would resemble that above.

I grew up in Hastings, Nebraska where it was evident at a very young age that I loved to draw and do art.

I got a BFA degree from the University of Nebraska and became art teacher In District 66 in Omaha, NE.

I took some time off to raise our family and then engaged in docent touring at the Dallas Museum of Art after our move Texas in 1996.   I returned to painting in 2011 and have shown my works in Palm Beach at the Modern and Contemporary show in 2022 with the John William Gallery.  I have also had shows in Dallas and Omaha, NE.

I like to use references from nature and my surroundings. I do lots of figurative work as well. Color is one of the most important elements in the creative process to me.  It is always a challenge to interpret God’s creations. All people have an eye for good aesthetics and  I feel I am learning more about myself with each creative endeavor.  It’s a process that is forever engaging and challenging.
